Andrea and Matthew have over 15 years experience in their industry and are passionate about sharing it with new audiences.

Our Story

Shortly after getting married in 2017, Andrea and Matthew moved to the Castle Quarter in Bedford. Whilst touring extensively around the UK and abroad, they had their sights set on creating a company that engaged with the community and offered high quality music for events. After raising money for charities with outdoor Christmas concerts at local businesses and singing for their neighbours on the street during the COVID pandemic, it was clear that  it was time to take this further.

Andrea Tweedale

Co-founder & creative director

Andrea grew up in Blunham, Bedfordshire and flourished in the musical life that the then Dame Alice Harpur school and the local Blunham church choir had to offer. She furthered her taste for opera in the highly credited Bedfordshire Youth Opera before going on to read Music at the University of Sheffield. She then attended the RNCM for postgraduate studies, gaining a Masters of Music and a Postgraduate Diploma in solo performance, both with Distinction. She has gone on to sing to critical acclaim for companies such as Opera North, Longborough Festival Opera, Grange Park Opera and Iford Arts, as well as performing and touring internationally.

Matthew Palmer

Co-founder & bookings manager

Matthew grew up in Coulsdon, Surrey and harnessed his love for singing at All Saints Church Choir, Banstead. He read Music at the University of Sheffield, where he first met his wife, Andrea, and then went on to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama on the Masters course and subsequently  the prestigious Opera Course.  He has worked for ENO, Opera North, Garsington Opera, Grange Park Opera and Iford Arts, as well as for Glyndebourne Education and  Royal Opera House Education as a workshop leader for their Opera Dots programme, leading immersive opera workshops for children aged 0-5.

Aside from his work with major companies, Matthew is also a regular fixture at opera galas, where he can be found singing much of the classic repertoire as well as comic songs and musical theatre classics.
